About the course:
The Remote First Responder and Rescue Training (RFR & RT) is an introduction to remote medicine. It is designed for medical professionals and employees whose primary medical responsibility is recognizing life threats conditions and stabilize the patient until higher medical care can be reached.
Our curriculum gives our clients the confidence and expertise to handle the first 10 minutes to 24 hours of an emergency.
Our aim is to prepare remote site workers (oil and gas industry), outdoor recreationalists, camp staff (military camp, summer camp, and hunting camp), rally drivers and scouts who work away from definitive medical facilities and support.
Classroom lecture is limited while student’s interaction and hands on practice are maximized.
They learn and practice skills during simulated scenarios.
This course and training is spread over 3 intensive days (24 hours) and the format is lectures, practical skills and realistic scenarios.
